Puerto Rico: Poor Man’s Paradise Cliff Jump Activity
We went to a very secluded part of El Yunque and it was so beautiful. We jumped off cliffs, ate passion fruit from the forest, and swam in a beautiful river. I highly recommend this tour to anyone trying to do some hiking and swimming under the waterfall in El Yunque. If you are looking for adventure this is the perfect option for adrenaline lovers. This new multi-adventure activity of Coasteering in Gran Canaria is a fun day out along the cliffs of the beautiful coast of Mogán.
Surfers of all skill levels are welcome to catch waves. Beginners can learn the basics with short courses and fun clinics that help surfers of all disciplines ride waves in no time. This trail and waterfall are not within the portion of El Yunque that is protected by the United States Forest Service. The trail consists of an initial gentle sloping terrain with another more inclined terrain down to the waterfall. On the return leg the first part is the climb away from the falls and then the initial gentle terrain leading you back out.
These rocky coastal areas and cliffs are aesthetically appealing, but they’re not for the faint of heart. The ground is uneven and contains many holes that hide crevasses that fall into maze bank tower the abyss. Be aware when walking, but remember to enjoy whatever beautiful scenery catches your eye. Check out the video below to watch me go cliff diving in El Yunque National Forest.
